Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav Azadi Quest Games. Download, Play & Win

As the country commemorates 75 glorious years of India’s independence through the Government of India’s biggest initiative, Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting is ready to usher in a new digital and interactive experience for the people of India, especially for children and the youth - connecting ‘folk with the future’ as envisioned by the Hon’ble PM.

The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, in collaboration with Zynga India, has developed a digital learning experience through online mobile games, to highlight the key milestones of India’s freedom struggle and honor the great freedom fighters, in order to engage, entertain and educate the people. Azadi Quest is an entertaining and educational series of online mobile games, aiming to provide the player a platform to learn more about the journey of India’s independence and the gallantry of Indian freedom fighters, interwoven with fun gameplay. The games are designed to commemorate Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav. The games’ content has been specially curated by the Publications Division of the Ministry, and vetted by experts of Indian Council of Historical Research .

To make Azadi Quest a thrilling experience for the players, the Ministry offers the champions of these games a chance to earn some exciting rewards and celebrate their victory with the entire nation. Select winners will get an exclusive chance to be featured on Doordarshan and All India Radio, and also win other interesting prizes.

In Azadi Quest: Match 3 Puzzle, players are guided by a lovable cast of characters - Grandma (or Daadi), Rekha and Chhotu. As the curious grandchildren gather around Grandma to listen to her memories, the players are transported to follow the colorful journey of India’s independence. The game is designed to educate the players in an interactive format, highlighting important freedom fighters, historic milestones, and iconic movements as players progress through gameplay spread across 495 levels. During their journey, the players can collect 75 trivia cards, each showcasing key moments in history, compete on leaderboards, and share in-game rewards and progress on social media.

Heroes of Bharat, which includes 750 questions about the heroes of India’s Independence, is designed as a quiz game to test the knowledge of the players about the heroes of India’s independence. Players can collect 75 ‘Azadi Veer’ cards each unfolding the legend of a lesser known hero of the Indian freedom struggle, with special silver and gold versions that can be unlocked with each passing level. Players earn a silver card by answering 6 questions correctly and can earn a gold card if they are able to correctly answer all 10 questions. A player can use the ‘Ask a friend’ feature to seek help. As they earn Azadi Veer cards along the way, they can also share them on their social media platforms.
