Expatriates can apply for the Pravasi Store project run by Norka & Supplyco. They promoting expatriates for self business. It is part of the NDPREM project to rehabilitate returning expatriates.
You can start shops like Maveli Store and Supermarket. Loans up to Rs 30 lakh with 15% capital subsidy will be sanctioned through leading banks.
If the building is less than 700 square feet, permission has been granted to start Maveli store style shops. If the building is less than 1500 square feet, permission has been granted to start Super market style shops.
The cost of the shop's furnishing, computer and furniture should be borne by the shop opener. Preference will be given to those who have recently returned home.
The sale of other goods not supplied by Supplyco is also permitted with conditions.
If there are any Supplyco outlets In rural areas it is within 5 km and in the municipality it is within 4 km, Pravasi Store will not be allowed. The limit in the corporation is 3 km.
