Those who can't come to Munnar and take a room for a hefty fee can use KSRTC's AC home bus. Rental rates and guidelines for sleeper buses installed at Munnar KSRTC bus station premises have been issued. The sleeper will be rented at Rs 100 per night from 6 pm to 12 noon the next day.
It is placed in the vicinity of the bus depot. 16 bed, AC, fan, drinking water, seating and dining facilities.
Bus users can use the toilets at Munnar Depot. Toilets have been upgraded for this purpose. The bus will be cleaned, disinfected and handed over to the next group as each group changes. Two employees will be hired to supervise.
